Default Good Areas to live.

I am coming to knoxville in two weeks for an interview. The interview is actually in Lenior City. The job offer will be in Lenior City. I have never been to Tn. I need some advice as where to live that will be safe for a family within 20 min of Lenior City. I have been told that West knoxville is very nice. Any suggestions as to which apts. I should visit and which ones i shouldn't even waste my time visiting.? Thanks for the help.

For apartments, you probably will want to live in Farragut. It is convenient to Lenoir City and you will commute against the traffic, not with it. For buying or building your own home, you would be better off in Loudon County outside of the city limits. The taxes are much lower than Knox County, and there is some really nice property out here in the boonies. Moderator cut: cut text

Most of West Knoxville will be a 20 minute straight shot to Lenoir City, provided that traffic is not bad. Farragut has few apartment complexes; I would recommend Cedar Bluff area.
