Is there a restriction on where I can or cannot put up a fence if I have electrical lines going across part of my back yard? I researched a bit but couldn't find anything really

Two thoughts....

Check with the county courthouse to see if there is a easement across the property. You could also contact your local power company.

Years ago we had a sewer easement in our back yard. If we built over it, we were told we were responsible for removing our deck if they needed to replace the sewer line.

Thanks! I don't know squat about these types of things so I wasn't sure where I should start.
