Mystic Fire,
No words of wisdom about Strawberry Plains. Strawberry Plains is a place we've considered because we want to back in Knoxville. Other then zipping into Straw Plains to get gas off of the interstate, I don't know a thing about it, sorry. Maybe start a new thread asking about Strawberry Plains? All the best, Pam |

Mystic Fire, Are you selling a home here in MD before moving? Thankfully we are not, we knew we would only be here for 2 yrs so we decided to rent. The subdivision we live in is like a ghost town. There are so many foreclosures, and yet they are building every day! I have enjoyed our 2 yrs here but I will not be sad to see it from my rearview mirror!

Thank Goodness, no! My husband is the Supervisor of an apartment complex, so we live on site. Makes it a lot easier than having to worry about selling inthis market--seems like every other house here is for sale, and you're right-they ust keep on building!
Pam, thanks for nuthin'!! HAHA, just kidding--I will take your advice and start a new thread ![]() Thanks hon! |

Mysticfire,
when are you and your family moving to TN? We are moving when school finishes here. I can't wait! I dread the actual unpacking part but I really look forward to everything else. |

Well, right now it depends on hubby getting a job-hopefully that will coincide with school finishing up here-apparently JeffCo schools end in May? but we only have 1 son in kindergarten so it wont be that major for us
We should definitely keep in touch ![]() |

I guess my advice is while it may seem a pain to have to move twice, renting first is still a much better idea then simply buying first. Look at it this way- it might take maybe 1-2 weekends to move. That seems like a small price to pay in regards to a lifetime choice. rent first.
