Default Knoxville Relocation

Hi All,

Well before I hit the road for Knoxville, I do have one more request for help. My wife and I have been doing a lot of research on homes in the Knoxville area and several homes that match our search criteria are popping up in the following zip code 37921. I have done some research on this zip code in regards to schools, cost of living, crime etc. I have found a lot of good info, but I would really like to here from you all what your thoughts and opinions are on this area.

Thanks Again

kkspangl

According to Melissadata.com's page on zip 37921, this is the Karns area of Knoxville. Population 26,240. Home sales in last 30 days - 29. Average price - $126,000. The eastern border is 75/275, southern border is basically I-40. It goes west a ways and north a little - it basically is the area around Western Ave.

I'm surprised no one has answered yet....I think this is a real nice part of Knoxville. There's a nice dog park there....and I've seen a lot of nice developments.

37921 "isn't" Karns. Karns is 37931. 37921 is Lonsdale, with a little overlap into West Haven.

37921, is Lonsdale, which is in the downtown area, and lots of old properties, and a lot of historical sites are being restored. School system would likely be in Austin East area, and quite a bit different than Karns.
