Default another neighborrhood "?" this time in Knoxville :)

Have an address on Sundrop in zip code 37921-Looks like Karns area--

The house itself would need some work but I am wondering about the neighborhood and all...

We are coming down on Wed/Thursday to take a look at a few places-just wanted your insight

TIA!

That area is really not Karns but fairly close to it. I would call it more Cumberland Estates area though not in the S/D.

I have inspected many homes in that area and I guess I could say it's a pretty nice area. Of course, like lots of places, you may have a wilted flower here or there in the bouquet.

There are a fair amount of "flip" houses in that area, some better than others.

Good luck with your search.

Twin Brooks Road is more Powell. That stretch on Emory Road off of I-75 is devloping. St. Mary's is partway through building a huge new hospital not far from I-75 on Emory Road.
Very suburban. Probably in Gibbs School districts. Pretty area with rolling hills and some mountains.

Twinbrooks Road and S/D is really more in the Halls area and is east of the Halls Crossroads area.

Just looking at the map, I can't place the S/D, but I know I have been in the general area, and it was pretty nice. Of course, things can differ street to street.

You really need to just visit the area and drive around to all the places.
A great resource is The Map Store 865/281-9541. They are on Dutch Valley Drive and have maps for just about any area in TN (and others). I don't think they are open on weekends though. I use their laminated maps, so I can write in them with wet erase pens and then wipe it off.

Feel free to private message me and I will be happy to refer you to Realtors that I trust.

Good luck with your search

Barking Spider (by the way, I have not ever heard anyone use that term except my dad, who unfortunately passed away 4 years ago) Love it--lol

Thank you so much for that info! We are coming down this week-we should arrive Thursday early am--trying to get it worked out so that we will spend Thursday and Friday there-but work is being a PITA and we may only have Thursday. We have about 15 houses we are trying to get set up to look at with a realtor I found on the knoxmoms.com site. She seems nice enough but not sure if she really has the time for us we would like-she always seems super-busy. But the map idea is great-we will try and check them out hile we are there-that would be a big help!

I've heard it quite a bit. I was a little surprised to see it here, though.
