Get together
I'm afriad 7:00 AM is a little early for me, guess I will wait and see if Cindy puts together and time and place to meet up, she mentioned Shoneys on Chapman Highway earlier. Why dont we start posting a list of those interested. I will start and then you all can paste and copy and see how many we end up with thats interested in meeting.

I work kind of strange hours. Saturday at 7 a.m. wouldn't work for me either. I'm home that day, but I wouldn't be able to drag my eight-year-old out that early. I'll just stay off the list and then if the time is good I may be able to go.

Hi y'all. yes 7:00 would be too early for me as well.. I would like to say May 3rd sounds like a good date to start with at Shoney's on Chapman Hwy say at 11:30? And if is successful, we can do this once a month..weekly or bimonthly..whatever floats our boats as they say..

Well, I should be moving to the knoxville area mid to late June(hopefully) so I will check back and maybe meet up with yall at a later date!

Cindy, May 3rd at 11:30 works well for me. How will we know each other, guess we should post what we will be wearing when the time comes or check in with the Host and tell them our group, the Newcomers Chat Group.

Thats what I love about Tenn, everyone is so hospitable, Miami was like that many years ago where I was raised, then Ocala was like that for a few years, not any more though.
I hope all you locals will feel free to join us for the get-together, you would be very informative for us newbies to learn more about the area and all.

No One interested
It's beginning to look as if not too many people interested in getting together. Cindy, I will still meet you there if you want and if anyone else cares to join us then that would be great. Do you still want to meet at Shoneys at 11:30?

I happen to be extremely busy, right now, but I can certainly try to meet you. I am in the middle of something important, but I will try to make time. I have one question, though. Where the heck is this Shoney's? I am way the heck up in north Knox County.
