Default Not saying

Not saying traffic isnt bad in Pigeon Forge/Gatlnburg area, I have been there when it has taken 45 minutes just to drive a couple blocks, definitely wouldnt want to be living there during any of the peak seasons, there are times its backed up from Hiwy66 all the way thru to Gatlinburg, I could walk from car hood to car hood and get there faster

Default My experience, while in Gatlinburg

I took my family to Gatlinburg this summer, it was in June. I work in Public Safety and have been in my profession for 25 years. How is employment in the Gatlinburg area for Police & Fire.

When I stopped by the Fire Dept, was treated like a outsider. I apoligized for coming on a weekend. Advised that I was a firefighter in Michigan and asked for a patch. Offered to buy it.

The Lt that was on duty, rudely looked up and advised that they did not trade patches any more and looked back down at the paper. I said sorry for the inconvience and left.

Are most Public Service people down in Gatlinburg that rude?

Upper Middle Creek past the golf course near Dollywood...turn right onto Boogertown Road...turn right again at the T intersection...and it connects you to the Arts & Crafts loop. Follow the signs back to Pittman Center.

But don't trust my faulty memory completely...take your Garmin with you.
