Hi! My husband and I moved to Knoxville last year and would like to find some activities that will allow us to make new friends. We live in West Knoxville and are semi retired.
Thanks for any ideas anyone may have. |

You might try visiting or joining a church.
If you have a dog, go to the PetSafe dog park, or to the Cove, or to PetSmart. Take a non-credit class of interest at UT or Pellissippi. Go to Alive after Five at the Museum on Friday's. Check out Metro Pulse and the Friday paper for weekend activites. Just a few that came to mind. |

Second the non-credit classes at UT and Alive after Five. Also consider some of the volunteering opportunities (ie Boys/Girls Club, Friends of UT Gardens, Knoxville Museum, etc).
