Red Lobster...
So, this may be odd to some of you but I work at Red Lobster, have for 7 years and I love it!! My husband and I are relocating to east TN this summer, probably Oak Ridge and of course I will be transferring.
My question is...what is everyone's opinions on the various RL's in Knoxville's area??!! I have to choose which one I'll transfer to and of course I want to transfer to a fun, busy & good money maker restaurant
My 1st would be Oak Ridge, just because we will more than likely be living in Oak Ridge, next would be the one on I believe its called Merchant St?/Ave? Then the one on Kingston pike.
If you don't like RL thats fine, please don't bash it I'm not here to listen to that, I'm just looking for you opinions on your experience with the different locations themselves...how's your service been? is it usually real busy?
Thanks yet again

I'm from New England so I like Red Lobster because the food is about as close as I can get to the food I love. Besides, the food always seems to be consistent. We go to the one on Merchants Drive. I haven't been to the others.
It is very busy there. The wait staff is always wonderful. The manager always comes over and personally asks if everything is okay. Definitely put this one on your list.
And welcome to Knoxville!

This probably won't be much help, because I have only been to the Oak Ridge location.
It's always good, and the service is too.

I work in Oak Ridge and live in West Knoxville so I can testify for both RL's. IMHO, both are pretty much always packed...Oak Ridge especially at lunch as the population of Oak Ridge doubles during the day. So that is something for you to think about, if you want to work only nights or weekends Oak Ridge might not be as busy as the other two. I've had good consistent experiences with both the OR and Kingston Pike locations. Good luck and welcome!

Thanks everyone! It sounds like they both are nice. I guess I'll just have to go out on a whim and see what I like. I can always transfer at any time. Since we'll be living in Oak Ridge, I might as well save on some gas and start off there? Although your gas prices are a lot better in TN than here in MI, frankly ALOT is better anywhere but michigan, lol!!
Ahh yes the biscuits...I hear that ALL THE TIME!!!

I don't eat anything that comes out of the water. Does Red Lobster have other than seafood on it's menu these days? I went to one a bazillion years ago and at that time, they didn't.

Absolutely. My husband eats seafood about once every ten years, and my daughter has never eaten it. There are lots of choices.
