the cost of repair is ridiculous!! I rented to someone with a dog he made holes in the yard, rampaged my garden torn down my fence around the garden harrassed the neighbors, craped all their yrd, then he had the nerve to pick up another stray and added to the damage, i tried to reason with the man but all he did was get upset with me like i was the one causeing all the damamge, i told up simple if i can control my five dogs, three cats, and five kids, i don't see why he should be able to do it too. and that if he couldn't handle the responsibility of being a pet ownr than he needs to find someone to give the dog to or find somewhere else that would put up with that distruction. I'm sorry you are having such a hard time, but sometimes you gotta go through it to understand it better.

We are in Oak Ridge....and have five cats....we own our house now...but we were actually fortunate enough to find a gentleman that rented a house to us, short term, with the five cats. So hang in there....there are places out there that will rent to you...you may just have to keep searching. Our cats are great and really don't cause much damage....if they weren't like that I wouldn't have tried what we did.....as it was we made sure the house was spotless when we moved out and into our own home last year.
