Default Best Farmer's Market and why

I've been wanting to visit the market on Market Square- didn't know there was one back in East Knox until I read the thread.

Our version of Farmer's Market (the closest to me) in Morristown is: everybody buy their produce off the SAME truck and let's see who can sell more!
Nothing is homegrown (other than Scott's Strawberries) and it all looks and for the most part, is priced the same.

I want a good, homegrown but it's-not-made-of-gold farmers market. Variety and people who can tell you about their stuff instead of a blank stare if you ask anything other than the price. Any input?

Thanks!
