After reading about Bearden on this thread, it sounds like a place that many of us would like to move to.

I love the idea of such an eclectic mix of shops and things to do. I must agree with JMT, knoxgarden, you certainly have described Bearden as a wonderful area to live in or visit.

Gemkeeper, thanks for the welcome. I haven't quite landed in Bearden yet, but I very well might! I look forward to getting to know Knoxville and being able to share some of my own experiences with others here.

As one of those "gay men", I heartily concur! Bearden is where I live with my partner and it is one of the more progressive areas of the city.

Bearden is great! as someone who has lived downtown, fourth and gill, and crestwood hills (way out west) I have to say, I'm really lovin' what bearden is becoming!
