gorideaquad is on a distinguished road
yikes we are thinking about moving and my husband is an auto tech at chevrolet here in california makes 21 an hour flag hours. so like 2400 gross every two weeks of course like 1600 bring home on a good 2 weeks pay after health ins, 401k etc etc. We found out that in this area dealerships are the only ones that pay decent but the cost of living here is so outrageous that a paycut would be ok. we have had our home for sale for 1 year now and with the mortgage market tightening it will be harder to qualifyy for a new home loan when we move. Knoxville i suppose has many many options for good hard working techs that show up. Well 68 people got laid off at his dealership last week and things are super weird with this bad economy aren't they?

The TTC system is part of the TN Board of Regents (Department of Education). Training programs specialize in job/career prep for jobs which do not require two- or four-year degrees. However, some programs provide for licensure; ie. cosmo, practical nursing. All programs are open the high school/GED grads; however, some programs are linked to area high schools (dual enrollment). Although I have not been on the three campuses mentioned by the previous poster, I have visited 5 of the TTCs within the state (as part of an national accreditation team). TN can be quite proud of the quality of education available at any of these centers. TN has a great postsecondary system with very affordable tuition. And, if you qualify, Pell Grants are available. I would provide links to the TTC center; but, when I tried the Knoxville center, the site was down. When the site is up, the link to the Knoxville center is [url="http://knoxville.tec.tn.us/URL]
