Default Help finding apartment in Knoxville.

Hi,

I am going to be moving soon to Knoxville and I was wondering what would be my best choice. I have bad credit and great rental history and my bf has good credit and no rental history. So I was wondering would we get into a company owned apartment or a privately owned apartment. I was hoping to move anywhere in west town.

Thanks you all!

You might consider getting a shared rental (roommate) situation. This will keep your expenses low and you can work on paying down your debts. I recommend the blog "get rich slowly" for advice on debt reduction. Also Dave Ramsey.

I am also like you, I have 'not so good' credit, but a good rental history, and I have not had any problems renting a place. I am currently renting a place in the bearden area, and am renting a small 2 bedroom home from an independent landlord, and have found this to be the best method for renting. I found this place, and others I have rented through craigslist or the metropulse or even the dailybeacon...
