We have to find Littons--I keep telling my hubby about it I think he thinks I have gone a little crazy. We were in FC the other day and every time I passed a street I was saying "this is where so-and-so said "x"" and "we must be close to Hik's new place!"

Come and visit anytime. If you would like I can DM directions and give you my cell.

By the way, I feel a great need to have a great party. I'm just waiting for gem, so I can firm up the date!

I would love to
If you're serious, DM those directions to me and a number so I don't just show up without calling

As for a party, I'm there with bells on!

While I like the entire Knoxville area, there really is something special about North Knoxville. I've become friends with two young couples who just moved here, one from Utah and the other from Oregon, one lives in North Hills, the other in Old North. They all just loooove this part of town because it's an affordable and honest-to-God neighborhood filled with people of all colors and backgrounds and great old homes and bungalows with full-grown trees, heirloom gardens and front porches that open onto actual sidewalks.

Plus, North Knoxville has Harby's!

Weren't they concerned about the air quality? I'd move there if but - mom has asthma...would she have problems?

Yeah, all 800,000 of us around Knoxville are wheezing and constantly hacking up phlegm. You'd better stay away.

Ah, yes. I am quite certain that he trotted right up to the new neighbors and said, "Hi. Are you concerned about our air?"

I see that you are interested in a possible move back to New York City. Good choice. The air is pristine there.

And you stumbled into the Knoxville forum, how?

Default Old North, I need help looking for:

I love the Old North Area, and while driving one day, I spotted a rare vacant lot for sale, but didn't write down the street names. NOW I can not "re-find" it. It's somewhere between Broadway and Central, an away from the street downward slope towards the city. In other words, if you stood on the street looking at the lot, you would be looking south towards the city. It's a corner lot. If anyone spots it, please , please let em know. thanks.
