Default UMC Church recommendations?

Hi all,
I'm looking for some church suggestions. Are there any UMC churches in town with these characteristics?

* contemporary service
* engaging sermons
* centrist (or at least not dyed in the wool conservative)
* strong Sunday school and children's programs.

We would prefer to be west of UT (i.e. anywhere from Sequoyah Hills to Farragut). Contemporary service is a must ... DH grew up Church of Christ, and has a strong knee jerk reaction to run screaming from the building in suit and tie services .

Default Concord UMC

I go to Concord United Methodist. We have 2 contemporary services and 2 traditional. Our Associate Pastor leads the contemporary service and plays a great guitar.

It's located one block off Kingston Pike just west of Louvell Rd.

Also great youth program and there is a Sunday school that should fit just about anyones needs.

Casual dress, for the youth it means shorts. WE don't really care how you dress, it's more that we care you are there.

You will see a wide range of dress, mostly pretty casual.

The service has a live band, and a fair amount of singing. There are two large screens, so there might be a movie clip, or power point slide show, or just information.

If someone is after a quiet traditional church experience, then the contemporary service is probably not for them. It used to be called Sunday Morning Light. I guess the easiest way to explain it is "It's church without hitting you in the head with it".

Oh, and there is coffee and orange juice served too.

Fabulous church. We were members there at one time. It's large, so be sure to get in a small group.
