I drove by it, yesterday. It's the Citgo that is just south of the "no casino" station.

There's a station (I think it's Conoco) on Kingston Pike in West Knoxville that doesn't have ethanol.
It's on KP just east of Gallaher View Road, across from the big Rice dealership. It's between Gallaher View and Downtown West. They've got a big sign on the sidewalk advertising that they have pure gas.
Filled up yesterday on my way home and price was actually 2 cents less than the Shell station near me that has Ethanol.

The BP on Callahan at the I-75 Exit sells 100% gas, but the last time I filled up they told me that all stations in Tennessee are going to be required by law to switch to E-10 on September 16th. I tried to find some more information about this but couldn't find anything so I started a blog for the sole purpose of trying to spread the word and get people to take action. Here it is if you all want to read it, digg it, send an e-mail to Lamar Alexander, comment, or anything to try and put a stop to this law going into effect.

I'm now stuck using the Citgo on Cedar Lane, across from El Chico's and Puelo's Grille.
Haven't found anything else. Everyone else has switched to ethanol. Chavez must be one of the last holdouts.

Personally, I would walk before I bought anything from Chavez.
We are having the same issue here in the Tri-Cities. I used to be able to get e free gas at about 3 stations, now I would have to go 10 miles out of my way to get it. So I am adding gas treatment to my car at least once a month. Add it all up, less MPG, wear and tear on the car and gas treatment, I pay a lot more for gas than I do when it was $3 a gallon.

Just an update on the Exxon in Ftn. City (The No Lottery, No beer, No Ethanol station).. They now have Ethanol.. I saw the stickers the other day and asked the guy and he said Exxon finally started using it. Said 'The Man' was pretty much forcing the stations to use it.

Yep. I feel badly for them.
The sign used to say "No Lottery, No Beer, Not a Casino" until the ethanol situation. By the way, I know someone on this forum was offended by that sign. The only reason he did that was because he wanted to be a full-service station like they used to have. They fixed cars and pumped your gas. It wasn't a religious statement, which is how some people took it. They were open on Sunday.
I thought it was extremely cool. It is the kind of business my husband and I would love to open up.
They have lost a LOT of business. The Citgo down the street grabbed all of the ones they lost, but my husband claims that it is now closed. I don't know. I haven't noticed. Has anyone else?
