Mystic, my favorite local artist at the moment is Robert Tino. You can get prints of his originals for fairly decent prices. As far as photo prints of Knoxville I would suggest asking JMT to shoot some for you. He's as good as anyone I've seen.

Two of my kids are down at Boomsday, respectively. They both just reported in that they're having a ball.

I got a lovely watercolor of the mountains at the Appalachian Craft Center. They have a wonderful selection of all types of art for very reasonable prices.

It's located just off I-75 across the highway from the Musuem of Appalachia.
Check out the Fountain City Art Center

Head Downtown to Market Square this coming Friday for First Friday and see what local artists are showing in the galleries.

And check out the Art Market Gallery downtown. Wonderful stuff by local artists.

There's also a water color society that has a show in connection with the Dogwood Festival, I think.
I've got wonderful paintings, etchings, pastels, watercolors, etc. that I've bought at art festivals and craft shops and sidewalk fairs that I've been to on my travels or from where I've lived. I love having these wonderful reminders of great times around me all the time. I didn't pay a lot for any of them, they were from the bargain bins and by up and coming artists but they're wonderful to me.
