tenncare and oak ridge peditrician (Knoxville: live in, office, best)

My daughter just recieved tenncare and I'd like to get her in and set up with a peditrician in oak ridge, or somewhere close by. (we live in or) I've heard good things about oak ridge pediatrics, but would like some more input?!

Also are there any moms groups?! I'd like to meet other parents with children, we have a 19 month old daughter and we just moved here not really knowing anyone. Thanks again

I dont know about the Tenncare or the pediatrician, but there is currently a group called knoxmoms I haven't really found my niche with the group itself, but the info on the area and such that you can get there is great!

There is a national Moms group network called TMN (The Mommies Network) that has sites all over the country--they are a big group...I just left my local site when we moved here and miss the setup dearly...it is an awesome program. I just interviewed the other day to start a site for Knoxville...my secondary interview will be next week hopefully, and site should roll out around Oct 1st...rest assured, if it does, I'll let ya'll know! I am so excited!

we just moved from Michigan. We're young, I'm 24 my husband is almost 26 and we're trying to make friends, it's hard though, not sure where to look?! :-) you live in oak ridge?

It is hard We are 27 and 37, we live in W Know, soon to be in the Karns area...so not too awfully far from OR

It is difficult, and that's why I am so excited about get a site rolling---It really got me out of my shell back in MD.

When my daughter was born she had TennCare, and we went to Oak Ridge Pediatric Clinic: Dr. Saroj Mehta MD We changed doctors to be closer to where we now live, but liked Dr. Mehta and her staff. (865) 482-4088 is their office number. Best of luck!
