Hello....My Husband is living in our new home in Norris. I'm still in Georgia listing home, etc. He is having considerable back pain. We have no knowledge of physicians in the area. Would appreciate any leads on qualified Orthopaedic or back specialists.

Typically back pain would need a neurosurgeon and I would recommend Dr Bill Reid. If this truly is a Musculoskeletal (MSK) problem I would recommend the KOC - Knoxville Orthopaedic Group.

Thanks for that referral, too. My hip is not any better and the doctor at St. Mary's was not helpful. One of the nurses said that all he does is give people shots in the back. He had us all lined up like planes at LaGuardia.

thanks for the info........he has had back surgery for a ruptured disc but before that he would get a steroid shot and it would work for about a year. What is the name of the physicial you are speaking of that gives shots.......it may be just what he needs.

Well, mine sure didn't work, but he is at St. Mary's North. Dr. Fry.
