Majestic Mountains Subdivision near Seymour
Does anyone know why so many houses in this fairly new neighborhood are for sale? It is unbelievable!

Price
Maybe its the price of them, they are in the 300-400 thousand dollar range which is pretty high, its a nice area, I have been thru it before, I just dont think the prices are good for todays market, people just cant afford that, and since its a subdivision people probably rather spend that kind of money on homes with acreage, just my guess

Majectic View is nice, and like many have said, the prices are a little high, and its sort of in a good location, if you want to travel to Sevierville, and Knoxville and Blount. May be too many homes, for the price, and area.

Majestic Meadows
It appears that various builders purchased several lots when they were sold at auction. Then they built homes to keep their crews busy and then the housing crunch came. I have talked to a few builders recently and they are willing to accept offers just to get out from under the monthly payments. Some of the builders are going out of business.
I also believe the homes are overpriced in Majestic Meadows and the prices will come down as this is a supply and demand market. It is a nice subdivision, but there are other nice subdivisions out there that are less expensive.
