Fall is in the air in Knoxville!
Finally it feels as if fall is in the air. The lower temps are indeed welcome. Time to visit the pumpkin patch!

I keep the weather for Knoxville on my computer. I was so jealous this morning, it was 81 degrees at 7:30 am here in Tampa. Hopefully, my g/f finds out Wednesday if she gets her job in Knoxville, and hopefully it's "yes". Can't get away from this heat and humidity soon enough, hopefully just in time for fall!!

I'm gonna miss the fall there, but I will say that I was pleasantly surprised that it was in the upper 50's this morning in Dallas! Very unusual for mid-Sept here, but I'll take it while it last!

Okay. That's it. SMG says I can enjoy fall, then I can enjoy fall!
Actually, I cheated and put up a scarecrow family in the front a few weeks ago!
I've planted some more fall perennials, cooked a casserole and Lauren and I joined Girl Scouts!
Oh, and I've been using that beautiful chenille throw!
Now, if I can just find some firewood!

I've been wanting to get my fall decorations out, but decided to wait a couple of weeks. Then when the temps dropped, it really makes me want to find that pumpkin patch. It is beautiful here!!

Ugh. It's 94 right now. I remember last year for Christmas, my g/f and I wanted to cut a fresh tree ourselves... so we trudged out to the Christmas Tree farm and cut our tree.. sweating in the 90 degree heat. That can't happen again! Come on Knoxville!
