Oh, no. I didn't think you were attacking at all, but I have lived in an economically depressed area, before, and I think it is doubly hard for y'all to swallow since your area has done very well for a long time. Anyway, if you don't laugh, you will cry, and I am trying to get you to laugh.

This will be great for the area, it could sure use a boost....tourist season was down at least for the timeshare industry...love them or hate them, they still bring lots of money into the area....while touring they stay at our hotels, eat at the restraunts, spend money shopping, ect...
TNKY, what city are u from in MI....I am from Toledo, Ohio....we also lived in Lambertville MI...

I'm from Muskegon MI, on the west side. This city has a double-digit unemployment rate right now. But if I get real good at juggling, like hiknapster mentioned, I'm so outta here

I'm with you mbmouse......I'm thinking that stiltwalking might be the only way that I'll ever see what it's like to be 'tall'!!! My dream was to be 5'8" and finally when I hit my 50th birthday, my hubby told me that he was pretty sure it wasn't going to happen - that I'm probably not going to make it past
5'3 1/2" ...... But maybe he's wrong!!
(I always claim that extra 1/2" because it makes me sound tall, don't you think??)
By the way, my daughter is 5'9" and hates being tall.....guess you can never please us, huh??
