I think I could handle the mime part with very little training. The juggling I might have to practice a bit.

that's usually what the code word "competitive" means.

1,000 new jobs is great news, no matter how silly some of them seem. Currently living in MI (and with God's help, eventually Knoxville) these are the same numbers we see EXCEPT it's 1,000 jobs cut or lost. It's hard to go for any length of time up here w/o hearing about yet another failed business or another round of layoffs.

People up here were down in the dumps when Chattanooga got the VW plant, but that's merely scratching the surface of the dissapointment in the state with the nation's highest unemployment. I work 3 jobs (when 2 of them can even afford to have me working) to make ends meet and to save up what we can for a very, very uncertain future. I pray to join my future friends and nieghbors in what I consider the greatest area of America, East TN.

I say, congrats to you and feel blessed. I'm sure Knoxville has experienced layoffs and businesses going under, but 1,000 new jobs is wonderful news during these scary times.

Actually, I think it is wonderful and said so. Compared to the rest of the country, though, we are doing quite well.

The rest of it was humor. Mimes always bring some sort of wisecrack. I think it is an American requirement. Perhaps you lost your handbook. Or you are a mime.

Default it's all good

I'm cool with the humor aspect, that's one reason I enjoy the Knoxville threads as you people have a great outlook. Even this past summer when you had all those bad things like the mall shooting and football coach deal, you came around after grieving just like you should have. My post was not any type of attack, sorry if it sounded that way, I just wanna be down there so bad and things aren't in my favor right now. That...or maybe mimes scare me to no end .
