Like oldmanbob said, Bearden and Farragut are very similar. Farragut is a bit newer, but the demographics are about the same. Both high schools have fierce loyalties among its students and alumni.
West has a little more variety when it comes to the socio-economic background of its students. Included in West's zone is Sequoyah Hills, probably the toniest neighborhood in Knoxville. But also included in West's zone are some poor, inner-city neighborhoods and some more ethnic areas. Being the closest high school to U.T. means it also has quite a few kids of U.T. faculty members. It's also the smallest of the three high schools you mentioned.
Knox County is fortunate to have, over all, a very good urban school district.
