Default short term lease needed please help

hello, I'am looking for an apartment or house to rent from jan 1 to the end of april, or even from dec. 21. i'm seeing lots to rent with a 6 month lease; however, thats more than i need. 4 months definite, possibly more but doubtful. my wife and I own a house in asheville, n.c.; but i will be working in knoxville for 4 months. the rental would be for me alone. 1 bed/bath would be great, nothing extravagant, kitchen a must, laundry and internet a bonus. any and all help greatly appreciated. thanks, steve

What about an Extended Stay type place? There are several realtors on the board and I am sure that they will chime in with suggestions. Good luck!

thank you for the suggestion; however, the rates of the extended stays are too high for me. they don't cut you a break, 45-75 dollars a day=1200+ a month. i would like to stay under 750-800. thanks...

Try 'forest ridge appartments.' It's in the HardinValley/West Knoxville/Karns area and my company put me up in a 1 bedroom place for 2 months. Very nice and I believe they do various short term leases. Mine had a kitchen and 1/2 bath down stairs, laundry and bedroom upstairs, and also had wireless internet.

Also, the workout facility was great, and they also had a movie room and racketball court in the clubhouse.

Always Busy has found a place, which is great! However, lots of other people will read this thread. I must mention Warren House. I have heard terrible things about that place. It looks kind of scary, too.

Default Condo

Hi Steve, I have a 1 bedroom condo for rent in Knoxville. The listings is on Craigs list. It is located in the Bearden area. Take a look at my add and if this is something that you would like let me know and we can discuss the lease contract.

Melba
