Default Art Gallery in Galbraith School?

Hi All!

I heard through the grapevine that the old Galbraith Elementary School in South Knoxville (it is over near South Doyle Middle, off of Woodlawn on Galbraith School Rd) was purchased by a person named Jim English. I also heard that Knoxville approved the purchase. Then I heard that Mr. English planned on turning the school into an Art Gallery and apartments for artists.

Has anyone heard anything at all about this? Does anyone know who Mr. Jim English is? He's not come up on Google (I get a lot of hits for people unrelated to Knoxville). If this is his intention - then I am really excited!!!

Hunh? The only Bluegrass I know of is a suburban area off westland. While I'm sure some artists reside in the communtiy the image that comes to my mind is soccer moms & dads.
