Wink PARIS, Tennessee, what do u know ?

Might be looking for information in the wrong forum area. Does anyone know
anything about this town ? I have heard that it is a wonderful small town, that you may walk the streets, to enjoy galleries, shops, sidewalk cafes, etc:
Medical care important and that it might be a great location for an active retiree.
Currently living in Ohio, and looking forward to Tennessee, smallville with
access to the big city when we want action. College town desirable too.
What do you know ?

I suppose Paris, Tennessee would be a good place for doing those activities if they actually had those activities. Paris, France has sidewalk cafes and galleries. Paris, Tennessee is home to the world's largest fish fry.

Paris is not a college town, either, and it is fairly isolated; a good, long two hours to the nearest big city (Nashville). It is a nice small town, however, and has a nice golf course on the shores of a beautiful lake.
