Default Landscape Lighting/ Irrigation Market in Knoxville?

Hello everyone...my family and I are currently living in Cincinnati, and are thinking about moving to Knoxville... I lived near Chattanooga for a couple of years and I REALLY miss living in Tennessee (I'm an avid mountain biker, camper, backpacker, hiker). I especially miss the much more mild winters, as ours here just suck.

I currently run a landscape lighting & irrigation business...been in business for about 2 years...so I'm experienced but I don't have such a large customer base that I would be losing much by moving to a new city...

Is landscape lighting & irrigation something that people are into in Knoxville (for higher-end homes)? I'm referring to lighting up the fronts of homes and the trees, etc. The typical home I do work at here in Cincy is in the $500,000 to $2,000,000 price range (our home prices are maybe 10% higher here).

Thanks for the input

Right now would not be the best time to start this type of business. Seems like everybody thinks they can do it. Yes, most new upper end homes have irrigation systems, but not many being built now. Besides that, most builders already have their own landscape contractor that does installs for this type work. Not a lot of demand for landscape lighting in the first place. Most of it would be commercial, but again, most GC's have their own subs already in place.
