I was wondering if anyone was employed as a legal secretary in the Knoxville/Oak Ridge area. If so, would you mind letting me know what the average starting salary would be? Are there usually any kind of benefits offered. I know every place would be different, I was just wondering if anyone knew what the norm would be. I have used these salary websites I have found, and they don't seem to be on the same track. Thank you.

My sister worked in that area for a few places as a Paralegal (similar, but not identical I know).

There's a solid market if you're willing to work -in- Knoxville, a few places in Oak Ridge too.

I think a solid range to start at (or at least ask for!) would be $14-$20 hourly WITH benefits.

Good Luck!

Also it'll depend on experience as she was fresh from graduating.
