Jacksboro, is a small country town, and once jmt sees your post, Im sure he probably has picts. Campbell county, is very rural, and not much there.

I wish I did! I've been looking but can't find any good pics of Jacksboro.

I've been up there quite a bit, and I agree with you, oldmanbob. Jacksboro is in a beeeautiful area, but there's not much there. I do believe the new Wal-Mart Supercenter is there in Jacksboro. Its sister city of LaFollette is larger and has most of the fast food joints as well as the hospital for the area.

Jacksboro is right off I-75 so it's only 30-40 minutes or so north of Knoxville. There's also a really nice state park there in Jacksboro.

I get off I-75 at the Caryville exit and drive through Caryville, Jacksboro and LaFollette on my way to my place. It is hard to tell where one town ends and the next one begins and the traffic can be horrible, as it is the only main road through there. Don't think there is much employment there, as it looks like everyone drives through on their way to work and back. It is also kind of, ummm... grungy. But the countryside is beautiful.
