Great news for Blount County. Puleo's Grilled is opening in the former Up the Creek Restaurant location. You can read all about it here.

More good news regarding eateries in Maryville. Love the salmon at Puelo's.

Great news smoky, as I have eaten at all three here in Knox, and never been disappointed, with service and great food. Next time Im in Maryville, maybe you can treat?

I'm not sure about Puleo's original location off Straw Plains Pike, but its other locations are all in buildings that used to house other restaurants that went out of business. I think it speaks volumes about the quality of the food and service that Puleo's can be so successful where other restaurants failed.

I'm glad to see them expand to Blount County! And I'm tickled to see another home-grown entrepreneur succeed, particularly in today's business climate.

Which restaurant failed at Puleo's Cedar Bluff location before they took over? You'd have to be an idiot to not be able to keep a restaurant open in that high-traffic area.

It was a Corky's BBQ. I don't understand why Corky's didn't make it. Like you said, it's a very high-traffic area, and Corky's has some pretty darn good BBQ.

In Cookeville and North Knoxville (and I believe Murfreesboro) Puleo's took over Rafferty's locations.

I had no idea Puleo's was outside the Knoxville metro at all. Cookeville?! Murfreesboro!? Why in the world don't we have one here? I LOVE Puleo's!

Hm, you drive a hard bargain! I like Smokey Bones, but upon reflection I realize I've not been there in about a year. So okay, I'll trade ya!

Who wants to call the owners and let them know we traded?
