Default Savage Gardens in Lake City

This sounds like a great place to explore on a nice spring day. Privately owned, the public is allowed to visit through the end of May.

Savage Gardens is a quiet, natural woods, consisting of 30 acres of rare and sensitive wildflowers such as the wild geranium, shooting star, and Jack-in-the-Pulpit. Savage Gardens hides along a tributary of the Clinch River, between Norris and Lake City, Tennessee. You can find carpets of trout lily, spring beauty, violet and twinleaf, as well as sprinklings of bloodroot, hepatica, and Dutchman’s breeches.
