Spring Cleaning for us was done last week. I am glad it's behind us!!

Yep, spring cleaning and watching the flowers bloom, great weather for it. I will wait for May to do most of my planting and I cant wait to get another Fusia Hanging basket, mine last year was so beautiful, I'm also anxious to see my Mothers Day Cactus bloom in May.

Going to a United Way dinner and Talent show tonight, should be fun, they are having a big silent auction, hope I win one of the beaufiul baskets they have. wish me luck

Bebette, guess Suzanne is on her way so we need to plan that lunch soon, just let me know if you two pick a day, she is going to call me in a couple days so we'll talk about it too.

Hi All -

We're in the car (hubby is driving, don't worry!) and on our way to Jonesborough. Will be back home tomorrow. Finally finished all of my deep, spring cleaning (thank goodness!). I love having a super clean house. We still have to do the garages but we'll get that started next weekend.

For anyone that needs a good Rheumatologist I went to a new one this past month, Dr Christy Park. She is wonderful! She is in with Dr Klipple. She came here from Chicago (her husband is a Radiologist here in town also). They have an 8 year old son and she is new to the area. She spent tons of time with me. She called me at home to discuss the results so I wouldn't have to come back in; how sweet!

Barking Spider - my son went to the Take Care Clinic at Walgreens in Alcoa and had a wonderful experience! The NP has called him twice to check on him. My sons friend went to the one on Northshore and had a good experience also. Highly recommend.

SMG, Thanks for the wonderful recommendations!! I will definitely keep Dr. Park's name for future use! I'm in my 10th week of PT under Dr. Baddour for my shoulder, and it looks like he will be doing out-patient surgery to 'pop the capsule' after my 12 week checkup appt.!! Once my shoulder is taken care of, then I will make my appt. with a Rheumatologist to see if they can help with the arthritis issues!! Geesh, no one mentioned that retirement time would be spent going to doctors!!! I'm ready to PLAY!!!!

Be careful on the road tomorrow, it sounds like the rain is going to be nasty!!

Bebette - so glad that you are still going to Dr Baddour. No one better in this town, hands down, for shoulders than him.

I think you will like Dr Park. She is very gentle and sweet and caring. She is very down to earth but sharp as a tack. She spent an hour with me on my first visit!? Hello, that is amazing in this day and time!

I hope you will soon be "healed up" and enjoying your retirement without so many dr appts!

We'll try to bring some FL heat with us! Ha! It's 77 warm humid degrees at nearly 9 p.m. I know--spriing is sprung here. The oaks have pushed last year's leaves off and are sprouting beautiful lush green finery. Of course, when the 90 degree has baked on the new growth, the softness dissipates quickly.

We're on our way up tomorrow. Hope we don't have to wade through lots of rain. Our doggie gets real uncomfortable with noisy rain drops on 'his' truck!

Suzanne, it's going to be about 70 degrees tomorrow....that's the good news! The bad news is that you might need a sedative for doggie because we're due to have thunderstorms all day!!

I think it is supposed to rain till Wednesday. Nope just checked WBIR's page and no rain Monday or Wednesday but rain on Thursday.

BeBette, it is all worth it in the end. After you get the shoulder taken care of then it is playtime!
I bought my plane tickets for a trip back to NY end of April to see my kids.I may get to hook up with Piperspal at the airport. How cool is that? I get to meet her before she gets to Tn!
