Yep, so true. Good sleeping weather though! Now I get to chase things around the yard that the wind blew last night. Supposed to warm back up tomorrow.

I think it's time
Well, after a long time going back and forth with my wife, we have agreed to seriously consider a move to Knoxville from southern Florida. I have been there once a while back and loved it. We have 2 children, 5 and 8 and they obviously are our priorities. It is not a nice place to raise young kids here and its getting worse. We will be giving up alot but we believe it will be better for our family. Seems like I keep seeing Maryville come up for families. Are the schools good there?? Employment slow there like everywhere? My wife is a dental office manager and I am a Fireman. We have been researching and the more we see the more we like it. Btw, dont worry, we are not pushy Floridians, just looking for a quality life for our kids. Thanks alot.

Hi Everyone! Welcome Rewob!
Rewob ~ Schools are great, employment is like everywhere - last I heard TN is 1% above average for unemployment. Search the other threads, too, for more detailed info on that stuff. On the chat thread we talk about kids, dogs, weather, migration patterns, our hobbies, who sells the best slippers, what we are doing to our houses, if we are sick, what show we saw last etc. Not to say that 15 folks won't chime in with more answers for you here though.
Everyone~
I got an offer on my house. It was a low ball. But it is an offer, so I can now say I got one. I countered back close to my asking price and they didn't take it - as I expected. Oh well... I'm having lots of new showings lately - not sure if it is because I painted the rooms neutral (no more orange and purple!) or if it is because of Spring.
Went to a cat show this weekend and worked the Siamese Rescue booth. We made over $1000 for the cause! So at least that is picking up - for a few months there - especially around Christmas, we couldn't sell any cat toys.
Still working on the bungalow, but it is slow since I was doing so much to the Gulf Park house. I can do more to the bungalow now that the Gulf Park house is pretty much all set.
I'm LOVING having more time with daylight in the evenings.
I hope everyone is doing well.

Good Morning Knoxville!
Quack Quack Waddle Waddle.
I saved a worm off of my front porch today. I see them often in the rain on sidewalks, but he must have crawled far to get to the porch, so I couldn't leave him. My son was like, "You rescue worms now. Really." LOL!
Happy Wednesday!
