Well, my transfer request has been approved. I am expecting a mid to late June move, but it will be a waiting game now until I get the official word on a start date.

Will be up in Knox last week in March to pin down a temporary rental.

Can't wait

Default I need a job!

This is a stab in the dark but you never know. Has anyone heard of places that might be hiring, particularly for customer service, sales, apartment leasing, writing or communications positions? Sometimes word of mouth is better than finding something online and pounding the pavement has gone the way of 8-track machines. I'll absolutely take anything, especially if it pays well. I would prefer that you send a direct message to me with any information for obvious reasons.

Thank you!

Default Nervous about selling house in NC

I just accepted a position in Knoxville and will be relocating my family from Charlotte, North Carolina to the Knoxville area. I have 4 weeks to wrap up my current job, get rid of unneeded things, pack up needed things, and get my house ready to sell. Even though it's not a lot of time I'm pretty much okay with everything except selling our house. It makes me very nervous to think about putting it on the market. I wonder how long it will stay on the market. Every month it doesn't sell costs me a lot of money. I want to move to be closer to my family, but it's still very nerve-racking and a big transition for my wife.

I don't know why I'm writing this other than to ask for encouragement if there is any to be had out there.

Welcome to TN....

If your house is listed below good comps in the area, y'all will be in a good position...I hear Charlotte housing is starting to moving pretty good now.....
