recommendations on primary doctors and dentists in Farragut (Knoxville, Oak Ridge: live in, best)

Hello, Can anyone recommend a good primary care/family practice doctor or DO in Farragut?

Also looking for a good Dentist in the same area.

I'm going to bump/piggyback off of this thread as I'm looking for the same info. I live in Oak Ridge but am willing to drive as far out as West Knox for a good general practitioner.

I know of a DO Family Practice Doc in W. Knoxville, and an MD IM doc that I use in W. Knox. Neither are as far out as Farragut.

I don't know the DO personally, but have heard good things. The IM is my personal physician and I like him a lot. I first went to him after seeing him recommended on this board.

que to think about
do you want your PCP that you choose to see you in the hosp if your admitted?
not many actually make rounds in the hospital any more
if admitted, you will be seen by the hospital group that only see's people in the hosp.
if the Dr you choose does make rounds in a hosp, which one do they go to?

just some questions to think about when choosing a new PCP.

One of the best dentists in town: Paul McGowan off Westland near Gettysvue. Bridge work is the best I've seen here. Avoid Parkway Dental off Fox Rd!!
