Hi everyone! We are relocating to Knoxville this summer (June/July) from Orlando. I work in commercial real estate and will be taking a job with R.M. Moore. Until we get settled in Knoxville and I have an established customer base, we thought it would be prudent to rent (24 - 36 months). That said - we want a nice rental, 4 bedroom, 2500+ SF, newer construction, etc.

We're looking in West Knoxville, Farragut, Lenoir City, etc. Anyone have any leads on new construction that a builder may be interested in leasing? So many of the advertised rentals look worn out - we want a nice home, one that we may possibly buy in the future.

Thanks so much for feedback - we can't wait to move up!!

You will love it here. We are originally from Seminole County. And, IMO, Seminole is much better than anywhere in Orange.

We currently live in Oviedo near UCF - love our home, but Orlando is falling apart. Crime rate skyrocketing, housing values dropping to all time lows, it is just a mess here....we can't wait to get to Knoxville!

We are in Volusia County and we aren't doing much better than you are in Oviedo. Thanks to some mom's on here we are thinking about Maryville. We still aren't sure. We are looking in the same area though.

I'm jealous! I wish I could say I'm moving to Knoxville in a few months! My wife and I have to wait until the middle of next year to sell our house in Tampa and make the move to Knoxville. It's crazy how many Floridians are moving to Tennessee!

(Hik) I am in DeBary, Florida. Small town.

Dave: I am going to miss Tampa. That is where we would go to get away from Orlando. lol That is about the only thing that I will miss.

This just means that when we all get up there we have to have an old fashioned BBQ!!!
