You'll find quite a few new or newer homes in your price range with 3 bedrooms near Northshore and Pellisippi -- Bluegrass, Concord, Choto.

Agreed but most are not the modern that she was hoping for and the classic and traditional she was hoping to avoid.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but sometimes we need to let people know that what they are looking for is not possible, that way they can change their list of "wants" and perhaps pay a little more than they were planning. I hate stringing people along.
I've looked through the entire MLS for Knox and Maryville and haven't found anything.

Yeah, I read the 2000+ as square feet, not as year built. So I have to agree it's not going to happen.
It got me to thinking .... is there anywhere in this country where tract homes are being built in the modern style these days.

Interesting comments....thanks....I have been focusing mostly on the Farragut area...but may take a peek at Maryville. (I'm looking for more traditional look)
