Relocating to Knoxville, TN & in need of some help.
Hey everyone. Me & my daughter are planning to move down to East Tennessee about 30 minutes away from Knoxville. Im looking for a small country town. With long fields, not to many mountains, friendly country folks, alot of green fields, horses & horse farms in area is a must because my daughter has an obsession lol, and we're particularly looking for a farm house to move into so we're not looking for a town with no country to it.
We are planning on taking a trip down there in May to take a look around so if anyone could give us some ideas of towns ASAP so we have a couple towns on a list to run through during our stay, it would be greatly appreciated. Thankss =)

Is your daughter in school? If so, you will need info regarding schools.

If your daughter is seriously into horses, why not consider Kentucky?

Hey Britt, Hardin Valley sounds like an area you would like, with many small farms off Hickory Creek, and a horse facality off of Marietta Church rd, and the new Hardin Valley Academy has great reviews. Also going west, is Loudon co, and would put you anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes of Knoxville.

Hey, Britt09!
I saw your other posting in the Chattanooga forum as well... If you don't mind me asking, would you please tell us a little more about your objectives? For example: 1) Work in the metro area and live in the country? 2) What line of work - might make a difference between Chat & Knox? 3) Buy or rent? 4) Any budget? 5) How close to shopping/Walmart/Etc?
My wife and I are empty nesters and we live halfway between the two metro areas and love it!
Good luck!
