Is there any Tourette groups here in Knoxville? (child, noise)

My 12 yr. old has been diagnoised with Tourette syndrome and it is so very disheartening. No one seems to understand it, let alone his classmates who continualy make fun of him.

I have searched (googled - tourettes knoxville) and there isn't anything! I did join the tourettes national website but to know avail have not heard back in over 2 months?

I really appreciate anyone that would know of some information that is local, or has the same problem with me with a child with tourettes.

As far as I know there are no groups established. I hate to send you somewhere else by try posing your question on the knoxmoms dot com website and forum. The moms there may know of something.
