Maryville
Wow, I just went thru Maryville for lets see the 3rd time in 25yrs, the last time I had been thru there they had the plans for the library in the works. I cannot believe how beautiful it turned out to be, and the location is ideal right by the park. I came so close to moving there back then, I wish I had now I could have made a good investment.
Looks like they have done a terrific job on renovating the area, the last time I was there the streets were blocked off and seemed kind of depressing..... so I kind of decided to put it in my short list.
The worst problem I see is the traffic congestion because everyone is going to or from Knoxville I assume. Does anyone know if they are planning on rerouting it at all? Also, what are they actually going to do to the downtown area? They were constructing, but I didn't see what kind of business's they were going to try and get. Are they just going close off the downtown, like so many are doing nowadays? anyone know?
Could I get a 1 bedroom or studio for $400 there?
