Default 3 days in Knoxville--how to...

capture it all? (we are coming in June)
we are highly considering moving to Knoxville and want to see the most that we can in 3 days.
we love to hike and are looking for a nicer suburbia type area to live...I think??

so far we want to check out....the following, if u have suggestions on details of places to see, that is really appreciated.

1. Smoky national park
2. Gatlinburg
3. Downtown knoxville---any areas in particular
4. Sequoyah Hills, Farragut, Maryville (this seems to fit our style of neighborhoods)
5. any other towns we should check out? maybe ones that would have waterfront property?
6. any thing else we should see?
Thanks so much for your advice, we aren't going for a few months, but I do like to plan ahead and look up stuff b4 we go, so we really appreciate the advice

Be sure to visit Gatlinberg on a weekday. It has become a huge tourist trap. While there, you may enjoy the peaceful beauty of Cade's Cove. It's an 11 mile loop drive. You can read more about it on the internet. Have a great visit
