Townsend TN july 4th Fireworks? (Knoxville, Maryville: 2009, motel, best place)

Just curious if Townsend TN has fireworks on the fourth of july? If not whats the best place to go see them if staying there.

No Townsend doesn't have anything. See other thread about Pigeon Forge fireworks. Gatlinburg has a midnight parade on July 3rd - it's a HUGE party - and they also have fireworks on the 4th. Seymour is having their first bash on July 5th, that will include fireworks that night. Maryville doesn't have any fireworks. Every single 4th of July event in a 60 mile radius of south Knoxville/Seymour will be in this week's South Knox/Seymour Times paper.

Townsend DOES have fireworks for the 4th. They may not be quite the production of G'burg or PF but they are still pretty good. If they are held in the same place as in the past, they will be right across the street from the Subway.

They should have something online about it. I guess they only want the neighbors to see it.

It's now 2009. In KNoxville City of Knoxville - Festival on the 4th

Yes they have fireworks. They were right outside our motel. Highland Manor Inn Here are a couple from our motel balcony.
