Default Hotels in South Knoxville?

We are coming to the area to check out Seymour. We have reservations in Pigeon Forge, but we'd like to stay one night in Knoxville. Are there any hotels in South Knoxville? If not, what area would be closest to Seymour? Any recommendations for clean hotels in safe areas?

Thank you!

The Crown Plaza is great, rest, bar, and right across street from the Market Square, and only a couple blocks from the old city. Be sure and try the Crown and Goose, for great food and also downtown, the Downtown Brewery. Enjoy.

They often have specials, I don't know how clean they are, but it looks alright. You'll have traffic noise in any hotel.
