Also, my husband I take his brother to the VA Clinic in Chattanooga often, and the VA hospital is in Nashville which is not a bad drive via Crossville to I-40.
My Dad has a rather small but quaint home there ready to rent but may consider selling it if someone is interested. It is situated in a private community on Watts Bar Lake but the house itself does not sit directly on the water. It is a short walk to the private community park and boat ramp. He bought it and completely renovated it. On one side is a vacant wooded lot with lots of mature trees as well as throughout the subdivision. I believe the lot is a bit larger than an acre (2 lots combined). The subdivision ends on the penninsula so there is no thru traffic - a quiet place to live. The back yard is very large and surrounded by a tall privacy fence. The house has 3 bdrms and 2 full baths (1 with tub/shower & 1 with a sit-down shower), a large walk-in closet, wrap around deck (3 sides), mud room on back, porch swing, and everything in the house is new including the HVAC unit... There is very little traffic.

Happy Hunting
I know this post is nearly a year old,but I am going to try,we are a couple in our 60's,no pets,we are relocating in Spring City and are looking for a very long term rental in the area,I will be up that way looking in 2 weeks and had hoped you may tell me the best way to find a place with covered parking for a boat and truck, its just the 2 of us,so even a one bedroom would do,but we would like to keep our boat & truck in a covered area,we have excellent ref for the past 5 years,no drugs,no drinking,we keep our yard and home in excellent condition,we love that area and have family in the Lake City area and it is close enough to a VA hospital and we found an excellent Cariologist for my husband in Knoxvile,Thanks in advance if you see this.
