We flew for the first time on Allegiant from Sanford/Orlando, FL to Knoxville. What a wonderful experience. Clean airplanes, friendly attendants. Be prepared to pay $4 for each piece of checked luggage and $2 for a 12 oz. soda! I would fly Allegiant again and again on short flights. Don't know if I could handle a Vegas trip w/o frills. Also, some seats have just a bit more room between rows. For instance, on the outbound flight we had aisle seats B and C. My 6'2 husband was much more comfortable in C. MD 80 equipment.

Thanks for the info. My mom, brother and a friend are flying Allegiant from St. Pete/Clearwater to Knoxville this Friday. I'm sure they will be happy to know about this.

Do you happen to know if the dimensions for carry-on luggage are very strict, or will they be able to bring something slightly larger than 19x16x9" without a problem?

Thanks
