I know that for me it helps to visually see how a state and towns are situated. I would strongly urge you to utilize this.

Google update??
Does anyone know how often Google updates the maps?
We had our property cleared in January and it still doesn't show the property cleared. Still shows the same Satelite map as before.

Blount County pretty much consists of Maryville (includes both City of Maryville and the county part, which have different taxes and schools), Alcoa, Townsend, Walland, Friendsville, and Louisville. I may be mistaken, but that's pretty much all the address cities in the county, and even Walland may have a Maryville address.
Doubt you'll find anything (stick built) 70 or below in Maryville city, Townsend, or Walland. Yahoo showed one unfinished 3 bedroom in Louisville at or under that price, and a couple in the county areas of Maryville, which are mostly fine. You'll probably be able to find something in Alcoa, but it'll be in South Hall neighborhood, which is a danger zone. Honestly 70K is very low for BC.
All have a small town feel and I'd feel fine about sending my kids to any 3 of the school systems, if I had children.
I'd look into South Knoxville, in the 37920 zip. There are certainly more homes in your budget (2 on yahoo with 4 bedrooms and under 70k) and the schools are decent, although a 5 bedroom anywhere around here may be an impossibility. The kids may have to share rooms.

Judging from yahoo, no on Rogersville. Another poster mentioned a couple available listings in Friendsville. I suggest searching on realtor.com and yahoo real estate.
I edited my last post further in case you didn't see all I wrote.

What is Friendsville like?..Is there a lot of crime? Is there good parts and bad parts of the town? And why not Rogersville? Thanks
