Yes, however, you won't find jobs in your fields where you make 60k-70k combined income in those areas.

So with 2 people working couldn't make 60 to 70k?..Could we live in Friendsville and work in Marysville or Lenior City and make that much? If so how long of drive would it be to those places? Also we plan on apartment for about 2 yrs and then buy a house...would that work? Also with someone working at a bank or somethin like that with an accounting degree and another person working at somewhere like Lowe's,Wal-mart,or somewhere like that how much would you think we could make together? Thank Yall Agian

So much of this depends on your own personal debt and other financial obligations. Only considering a mortgage and that amount of income, you'll be more than fine in this area, but I question if you'll find a sufficient for under 70k.
Friendsville is a very country town. There's a very small, quaint town center, but it's mostly farm land and homes, and a few neighborhoods on old farm land. Lots of hills, farms, and a history of marble mining. It's about 35 minutes to west Knoxville on Pellissippi Pkwy, which I'd safely assume has more accounting jobs than LC or Friendsville, although there are banks everywhere if that's her specialty or desire. It's about 15 minutes to Lenoir City from Friendsville and maybe 10 minutes to Maryville from there.
Just guessing that an accountant makes at least 40K, which I'd guess to be low, I'd say a combined income of 60K would be conceivable.

Reason: debt not dept.

VolDude, Thank You very much. So she could get a job in Lenior City or Marysville? It doesn't have to be banks but accounting is what she wants. Could we leave in Friendsville making 60 to 65k and work in Marysville,Lenior City,or Friendsville? Also how is the crime in Friendsville,Marysville,Lenior City, and West Knoxville? Thank you agian

I'm not really sure what you're asking. Of course she could get a job wherever she wants as long as there are jobs available for which she is the most qualified. There are jobs available around here, but there are a LOT of people looking for jobs, too. I think it would be very, very difficult to secure a job here if you don't actually live here. On the other hand, it would be unwise to move here unless you already had a job lined up. It's a Catch-22 situation.
The roads around Maryville (not Marysville) and Lenoir City (not Lenior City) are very good. There are a lot of people around here who have long but pleasant commutes.
As someone has already suggested to you, you can check the city-data.com pages for each of the cities you listed and see their crime rates. In general, West Knoxville has less crime than East or South Knoxville.

I don't know her ability to find a job and again I don't know your financial situation, but a household income of 60K would probably be about average in the area. Under a circumstance where you don't have a bunch of other money obligations, you can afford more than a 70K home, but as has been said, that would be an extremely low amount for a home for 6 in the area.
Crime is generally fine in those areas.
FYI, it's Maryville, no "s," locally often pronounced "Murr-vulle" or "Murra-vulle."

Maryville's fine. Wildwood is a nice area, in the county, east of Maryville that's a mixure of neighborhoods, homes on plots, and farms. You won't find a home for 70K there. I've never heard of Binfield, but from the location on google maps, I believe it's even more of a rural area with less neighborhoods. Both places are low crime and in Maryville.
There's a Lowe's with a Walmart next door in Alcoa.

Sorry, don't know how to just quote one part.. ......so how does a person move from one state to another ? Apply for jobs online in the area they want and hope and pray for the best? And then what if they get interviews ? Drive back and forth ? I'm able to move there without a job first but was wondering how a person would do this
