Can anyone help me with the Sevier County General Sessions Court? I am a member of a community HOA in Gatlinburg, TN. This is a vacation rental owner type of community of about 90 cabin owners. The HOA Board of Directors has violated both state law and the recorded Master Deed by compensating some of the members of the board for being board members.

My question is can I file a lawsuit in General Sessions Court to stop these violations or do I need to file in court for a specific dollar amount?

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Can you ask them? Have you gone to their website? Sevier County, Tennessee - General Sessions Court (http://www.seviercountytn.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10&Itemi d=15 - broken link)
It doesn't sound like they are the right way to go on this. What about the Chancery Court....
If no one can answer your question, you'll need to contact the free lawyer referral service.

Mad Bear, are you still around? I'm curious as to what ever happened in your case?
